  1. • American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII): a standard code and it has 128 7-bit combination
  2. • Bit: a removable drilling or boring tool for use in a brace, drill press, or the like.
  3. • Byte: bits used to represent a particular letter, number, or special character.
  4. • CD-ROM: a disk on which a large amount of digitized data can be stored.
  5. • Central processing unit (CPU): component of a computer system
  6. • Controller: employee, an officer, a business firm who checks expenditures, finances, etc.; comptroller.
